Into the freezer........

I had already mixed the peanut butter cookie dough by the time we cancelled the art quilters's day.  The forecast called for snow first and then freezing rain so we rescheduled for next week.  These cookies freeze well so I'll only have to bake one batch next week.
So did I finish straightening up the basement?  Heck no!  I grabbed my box of triangle squares and played with some ideas.  I'll finish the basement today.

  5. It's definitely more fun to play than to clean. I'm also going to rebook a 1 hour trip to a doctor this week due to the weather forecast. Aah winter!
Those cookies male me want to make some myself but lucky for my diet I 'm going to drive the 40 minutes to the nearest fabric shop today.

  10. I love what you laid out with your batiks, I'm a star and house person. No snow here but it's cold out there; I need to go out but I'm putting it off. Good luck with your cleaning, and save me a cookie!

Why don't you wait to finish the cleaning til next week too so you don't need to do it twice?

  15. I agree with the visual. When I put things away I too, forget about them. I think company is the only thing that motivates me to really clean up! Love your journal cover, the colors are so inviting!

  16. I did pick up some, kind of a resolution, I guess... but I'm not going "whole hog" on that. I started a paper pieced quilt from a QuiltMaker Mag. It's all pine trees and stars. Lots of color!

  17. Those cookies look so good. Do you make a standard size of HSTs that you have in your box? Do you make them for a specific project, or do you just make random pieces and put something together when you feel you have enough?

Hope you didn't get the horrible cold weather we got!

  19. Too bad your group got cancelled. The cookies would never be safe around here in the freezer though...you have more will power than me!
