I only had my little camera with me so the photo isn't as good as I wanted. I am really happy with how this is looking though. If you want to see the original strata click here. The first class is today and I'll probably have my good camera with me.
One of my students finished her last blocks for this quilt so we got them up on the wall yesterday. She had 3 rows sewn by the time I left. Her border triangles will be the same fabric that the 4 patch flower blocks are made from.
Love the strata and how it is turning out! But wow, your student did a fabulous job.

Love your quilt... it has an exotic look - like something that you photographed with a film type camera and then put on the computer and it broke up into pixels in the translation. Neato!
