I made this batch of blocks on Sunday night but didn't get the photo taken until last night.
Here is the whole group. I didn't spend a lot of time rearranging because they need to all come down from the wall before I add another batch to them. I can see multiple circles now so I know my fabric choices are working. After I finish the 72 two color blocks I will use all of the rest of the pieces and make 72 scrappy blocks.
I spent the entire day yesterday prepping for the QOV sew in which is today in Batavia, IL. We had a lot of strips sewn that needed to be cut into squares and then I had to sort and package kits. I also cut some fabrics into larger squares to use with the pieced squares. Then I sorted all of the strips that someone else cuts on their GO cutter into matching lengths. We never know how many people will show up to sew so we need lots of supplies ready.

Your fabric choices are definitely working for you! This block really needs to have contrasting fabrics so that you can see that secondary design and you have definitely achieved that with this quilt. Gorgeous!
Are these Winding Ways blocks cut with the GO! cutter? Or did you cut them by hand?
This is a fascinating pattern and your piecing is gorgeous.
I guess it is handy having someone that has a Go cutter for all of that cutting. I have been hearing so much of them I kind of want one but I do not want to spend the money on it!!

Winding Ways is looking good. Great colours and contrast. Your fabric choices are definitely working.
Oh yes....I see the circles too. It is definitely working.
Those big circles are amazing. You look once and don't see them; the next time you look there one is! And that happens a bunch of times with other circles. It's kinda spooky, actually. *S*
Those fabric choices are perfect! I love seeing the circles magically appear! Winding Ways is such a fabulous design -- and in your hands it becomes quite spectacular!
What is your personal opinion regarding this cutting apparatus? I've seen them in books, magazines and at shows, but don't know anyone who owns one, yet. Does your friend charge for the use of the machine? How many templates did she purchase? I would love to find a discussion site and get the opinions of others regarding the Go cutter.
I love it! Is it going together better? I am still not friends with any type of curves but might try them again if I could make a winding ways.
Those blocks are so pretty. I reallllly want to make some, and I really don't want to cut them out. Oh well, maybe later.
