Art quilters update
Several months ago I showed this quilt in progress which was made by one of the art quilters. He requested that I put together a kit of fabrics for him for our meeting. We had determined that we would be using the Strips 'n Curves acrylic templates that day. I helped with the cutting and getting him started designing. Then he was on a roll and he finished the design. Now it is all quilted and bound and it remains one of the group's favorite quilts.

I Love this quilt. I can see why it is one of your group's favorites. I look forward to your daily posts and always enjoy the beautiful colors from your quilts and garden.
I definitely can understand why it is a favorite, it is beautiful! Love the Strips and Curves technique. It makes me want to pull mine out and finish it up!
Wow!
This is stunning!
Wow! Fantastic quilt! I can see why it is a favourite.
Awesome quilt. Love the colors and curves.
It is truly beautiful!
Very nice--love the fabrics and movement!
Fabulous quilt, Mr 'x'! And great fabric choices, Wanda!!
I can see why it is a favorite. It is gorgeous.
Wow, I love this quilt! The circle fabric in the background is fabulous in this design!
Wow...that is awesome !!!
Absolutely wonderful ... it would definitely be one of my favorites, too!
What an amazing quilt.
I understand why it is a favorite. I love how all the different projects work together.
Beautiful! Great graphics!!
Wow! That is a beautiful quilt.
It's great. I love the big circle fabric in it. I would never think to use it. That's what is wonderful about reading blogs, for me it's like seeing a quilt show every day.
GOSH!!! I really like this.Wig.
Stunning!! I love that pattern -- and those fabrics for this design!
Very nice quilt. The colors are great together. I like that design. I have the book, but have not taken the time to use it yet. This is inspiring me to pull that book out and make a project from it. Do you find that sewing batiks on the curve is more challenging than sewing non-batik fabrics on the curve, like in your Winding Ways blocks?
That is one handsome quilt ! Love the fabric choices and 'rhythm' of it.

Hi Wanda,
I remember when you pulled fabrics for that quilt, love the colors then, and I still love the combo of colors. Bold yet harmonious.

It's a stunner! Karmen
This is a lovely quilt. It feels good to have students take direction and then begin doing on their own what you were teaching. It is sort of the right kind of pride!!
Fantabulous!
You have amazing talent in pairing fabrics, and clearly you're a wonderful teacher, too! Give yourself a big pat on the back.
I can definitely see why that is a favorite -- I love it!
Smashing! Really amazing work and that quilting goes to adding a zing when you get close up that's rather suprising. How neat. Like "how could it sing any more?" So fun!
