Low key day

This is one of the designs in the new Hoffman batik spring line.  I ordered it in 4 colors because I like it so much.  I got them from Batiks Plus which gives you 40" yards.  No store near me carries the new Hoffman line so I have to rely on the internet.
I caught up on a lot of things that I had let go in the last week and didn't get any closer to fabric than taking this picture.  I have a finishing class to teach today and also have to take Dad to the Dr.  I decided to treat myself to a movie last night and went to see "Letters to Juliet".  It was just what I needed to relax a bit.

  4. I love those batiks. Cutting them up would really make some interesting designs. I think as busy women we need to give ourselves a low key day once in a while and often we aren't willing to.

Hope your Dad is doing well, I take my mother in tomorrow again. She gave a lot to me growing up so I can do this for her now.
