Winter morning pictures

Snow cone anyone? The seedum blossoms are a bunch of coneheads this morning.

When I see this melted off I will go outside.
I think this last one looks like a Christmas card picture.

  1. Those ice-covered trees bring back memories of living in Bollingbrook. We had never seen this before. I know it isn't the best thing that could happen to a tree, but it is so pretty to look at.

May your entire Christmas be a blessing to you, and your family. The word verification for this message is kingly -- a good reminder where all those blessings come from!

    Hugs!

  3. Hi Wanda,
Wow, that's the freezing rain that is headed right for us! Beautiful photos!

I'm about to head out and scrape the excess snow/ice off my driveway so the added ice cover doesn't make it totally impassable.
    Have a Merry Christmas!

  5. There is beauty in freezing rain. And your snow cones are such fun to look at. I do hope it lets up and that you can get out and about.

Yesterday's post of your summer quilt just warmed my heart,
    luscious fabrics.

  7. It has done nothing but RAIN here for 2 days now - we're just that much further south from you that it didn't freeze although it is terribly soggy & dreary outside. Not at all pretty like your photos.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!!!

  8. Merry Christmas Wanda. Thanks for sharing your winter storm pictures. Originally this was the weather headed our way for tomorrow but now it's been changed to lots of rain. Currently we are getting some lake effect snows that came out of no where because the winds have shifted.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and wishing you a happy New Year.
