Fun to see pictures of your school. Especially the merry go round. I attended a one-room country school for grades 1-3. We had the same merry go round, and I had not seen that same design again until your picture. Perhaps they were sold only to one-room country schools.

That's quite an amazing picture from a bygone era. It's hard to imagine being the teacher of students in so many different grades at the same time. I've never lived in a rural area, so I have no real concept of your young life. Thank you for sharing these photos - I greatly enjoyed them!
