Final layout?

I think this may be the final layout. I have a couple flowers that are alike near each other but I think that I wouldn't know the difference if I did any more changing so it probably isn't worth the effort. I worked some more on my card file. A couple people asked how I attached the fabric to the cards. I was ready to change the needle on my sewing machine, so I just went ahead and sewed the swatches onto the cards with the old needle. I bought the index cards at W*l-M*rt and they are really thin compared to others I have purchased so it wasn't hard to sew through.

  3. Just beautiful! This past weekend, I was at the local quilt shop and all Kaffe Fassett fabric was $4.99/yard - I walked out of there with 22.5 yards!

  4. I love this fabric and it is so colorful and bright that I don't think having two similar flowers together will ever be noticed. Kaffe Fassett is one of my favorite fabric designers. I guess as I age bright colors make me happy. Sherry

  7. I have enjoyed watching your log cabin quilt posts. Your posts have inspired me to do the same with my Folk Art Sampler. The design process is so exciting and seeing your projects step by step has been very inspiring to me.

  8. Your blog is one of my 2 favorites! (The other is Fibermania). Today I was searching for your post on sewing curves with one pin and it was so fun to see all the quilts and layouts again. Your work is just so beautiful and I so enjoy going through the Labels section! I seem to find something new every time and I go through it constantly!!! Your color choices just make me so......happy!!!!

  10. Yes, I think the allover effect is more important than the scattering of the flowers -- in nature, the same kind stick together, too! To mee, it looks great like it is.

  12. Hi Wanda,
Very nice quilt, indeed! The size looks deceptively small on the computer screen; twin size, you say?
