I have 2 different shades of lavender Rose of Sharon.It is easier to see the difference in person. The one above is a little bluer, the one below a little pinker.I have some favorite hosta blooms to show tomorrow.
The close-up of the cone flower is wonderfully full of texture. I've been so busy that I've barely read any blogs, so it's good to see your journals again.
Ah, a rose of Sharon is an hibiscus. So many quilts make sense now. I just thought rose of Sharon blocks were very lazy roses!!!I have blue and pink ones in my garden in England, as a child in Australia we had huge big bright red ones.
