Nature by the front door.......
The porch pots are filling in. I planted a fourth one, the one at the top left. The dirt below it is from the ants that invaded it and then left the first day it was on the porch.
The hydrangea blooms are getting bigger. I always have a few coleus plants with their colorful leaves in the corner of the flower bed.

the plants are all so pretty. I will need to plant some in pots this fall for on the deck. We will be gone for part of the summer and if I put any out now they will die.

Hi Wanda,
Your porch plants are so colorful; they are way ahead of mine in size (by at least 2 weeks). Do you like to start with bigger plants (i.e. 4-inch pot size)? Or maybe you have a magic green thumb . . .

I love your porch pots! Pretty! Must be uplifting everytime you see you go somewhere, to see them on the porch. Very cheery!
I love the pots going up your steps and the mixture of various plants in them. Beautiful hydrangea! I have two of the lace cap ones but want the full blooming type.
Wanda, your pots are dee-vine!! I love seeing how they are filling in! So lush and gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
That hydrangea is gorgeous!! And your porch pots are fabulous!
I love how your front door looks, gorgeous!
Have you ever dried your hydrangea to enjoy during the winter months? My sister who lives next door to me grows the most manificent hyddrangea ever. I am so jealous of her plants because I struggle with just one. Our area is a zone 3-4 so we can only grow types that can tolerate the deep freezes we sometimes get. How I love them just the same. I do dry them.
Enjoy seeing your plants as much as your exuberant sewing projects.

You seem to have a LOT of flowers. Beautiful !
Your flowers and gardens are looking beautiful! Must be all that rain. So far it is still raining here. I am beginning to feel like I am in Seattle.
Your flowers are beautiful. Hate this horrible hot weather, but better go check my flowers to see if they are thirsty.
