Starting a new project

I am mid way through several projects but none seemed perfect to work on while I watched TV last night so I started another new one. I have 2 Lady of the Lake quilts, one summer and one autumn and I still wanted to make spring. It may not be as big as the other 2. It will all depend on how much I love it as I am making it.It looks like the weather is finally settling down and I should be able to get out and start raking the leaves off the flower beds. I see the peonies are starting to peek out of the ground and the lilies are up everywhere. Maybe spring is really here now.

  1. I can't wait to see the blocks for this one! Love the colours you're using so far!
It's still rather chilly here, but the sun is trying to peek out. I hope we don't get any more snow!

  4. Nice colors!

We may have spring too, finally. The temp was above freezing for two nights in a row! Snow is retreating, but no robins in sight. What do they know that we don't?!

  5. Those fabrics sure say fresh spring to me. Isn't it fun as how the weather dictates our moods and creativity? And we are all ready for SPRING.

  6. Spring into action. I too have other projects waiting to finish but I long to have something to do while watching TV or just sitting with my husband. He likes it best when the machine isn't humming.

  9. I love your colors and also your attitude about starting something new.
I seem to remember that you like to use Thangles to make your HST's. I was just wondering how you speed up the sewing process as Thangles don't SEEM to lend themselves to chain-piecing. Can you tell I've never used them...

  11. Love the colors of your spring version. What a great idea for seasonal quilts. I can't believe your peonies are popping up already. Those are some of my favorite flowers. I have several varieties planted around my home.
