You can see one side of the finch sack is coated with snow. The storm came at us from the north and coated that side of all of the trees and anything else that snow would stick to. There are 5 finches in this picture, 2 on thistle seed sacks and 3 waiting their turn to eat.
I hope these are the last snow in April pictures too -- although it's starting to look like I may have to take a few as well. So far it has been pouring down rain, then thundersnow and now rain again. I'm hoping we don't go back to snow but ...
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely beautiful! Just gorgeous. And, hopefully, your last puff of winter. Enjoy!
ReplyDeletepretty pictures but too bad it is in April. I had to cover up some plants last night and will again tonight as we are getting a freeze here in central Arkansas.

Hoping for the last snow for you and me both!!
ReplyDeleteI hpoe this is the last of it for you. Although the chance of snow here has past, we're stil susceptible to heavy frosts which reeks havoc with the fruit trees.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to "April Showers bring May Flowers?"
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas catus blossoms.

Love the finch pictures. I hope this is the last of the snow for you too.
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures! Warm to come soon, I hope!
ReplyDeleteI loved your finch photos! If this was November I would get all excited, but by April I have had enough. Let's hope it melts quickly! I also loved your cactus photo! Mine are all mixed up too, blooming since way before Christmas until now.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat pix, I hope this is the last of the snow too.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Wanted to let you know about my blog give-away, since I was lucky enough to win yours. It is the April 3 post at All Things Quilty.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I would count on it being the last time. Mother Nature has been a little fickle lately. But you certainly got quite a bit of the white fluffy stuff. At least this time of year, it won't be around for too long.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have no more snow this year and we have no more cold (32 tonight and 28 tomorrow: in South AL).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! -- Aren't you fed up with winter? We are.
