Down to two. I tried about 15 different fabrics and the only thing that seems to work is a mottled batik. Now I just need to decide between warm and cool colors.
I will be posting again in a few minutes since I forgot to load all of the pictures in this one. I don't like to move them because then they aren't clickable for a closer view.
I enjoy your posts, and the processes you go through. I love the baskets and I vote for the blue if I get a vote, although purple is my favorite color!
Hi Wanda I both of your choices. Yesterday I liked the lighter "pinky" choice as it brought out the pinks/purples in the blocks. But the blue you've chosen is equally nice. Vicky F
I have seen your art work and contents of your blog. I like it. Here is a review article written by me, about a painting done by an American woman. I hope you would like to look at it. AMERICAN WOMEN PAINTERS
As much as I always lean toward blue, I like the rosier fabric better. I still think the blue is a just a little too dark, and the other one has just the right value so as not to overpower the wonderful colors of the baskets and piecing. Just my opinion...
pretty - I like the design and the color.

I like the blue too. Might make the baskets stand out more.
