Cable guys
My problem with the cable was bad enough that they sent 2 guys. They ran a temporary line from across the street until the under street boring crew can come and run a new line to my house. They said I may still have sporadic service, so if I don't blog for a few days you will know I don't have internet service.

Don't you just love the cable company?
I read this post too fast the first time and wondered what the cable guys had done that was so boring.
Hope you get things worked out with your internet. It is so frustrating to be without internet.
Goodness, I hope they get it straightened out soon.
I hope the cable crew follows through and buries that new cable for you ASAP. I know how those promises go.
And I hope your present system works enough for you to keep us all posted.
But will wait to find out.
