This is what I had up on my design wall last night. It was hard on the neck to try to visualize this from the straight picture yesterday. After I tipped my head on an angle about the 10th time I decided I had to actually try it, and I put in the newest blocks that I have made too. I might just use half blocks for setting triangles If nothing else seems to scream "use me".

On point is p-e-r-f-e-c-t! It looks great! Simple block for a beautiful quilt!
This really works -- being on point, I mean. Everything about it is great, love it! How big are you making it?
This is the one,Wig.
WOW - I knew it would be awesome, but the real deal is even better than the aching neck version.
ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE!
FABULOUS ! ! ! ! !

I am so in love with your use of color, and setting this on point really makes it. Fantastic!
This is definitely It. The on-point setting, the sashing fabric. I think you're right, you'll need to do partial blocks for the setting triangles.
I've given up saying/thinking "This is my favorite one that you've done." You continually out-do yourself and amaze me with :ahem: what you get away with, colorwise. It's really changed the way that I look at putting colors and patterns together.
Do I need to send my mailing address to you for when this one is finished, or do you still have it? Heck, what am I saying? I'd even quilt and bind it myself! (Costs less to mail it to me that way, doncha know - I'm all about being accomodating) :snort:
What a difference it makes to set the blocks on points! It’s great, more spectacular!
love your sashing material. better in natural colors than the red version you had up earlier. once again, you have been exuberant. love to watch your blog.
Wanda, as the new on-point version of your squares-in-squares came into view (as I connected to your blog), I was saying 'Wow!!'. I love it, especially on point!

Yep - I like the blocks on point, VERY nice!
Wanda,
This one is really lovely- the on point is very effective as is that lovely twig border- You find the greatest fabrics to use to create your colorful quilts.
Thanks for the inspiration,
Regards,
Anna
This is a great setting for these blocks! I love this one on-point, and the sashing really sets everything off. Great job, again!
Fabulous!
that's beautiful-just right!
This is definitely the setting for this quilt! On point changes the whole look!
