And more stamps

These Olympic stamps are from 1980, 1992, and 1993, from top to bottom. I saw one strip of these on ebay express for $11.95.

so the question remains, should I just use them or are there buyers out there?

  1. Wanda,
Unfortunately there is very little market for old stamps. The P.O. made a lot of money on collectors and sold a lot of stamps. There might be some value in the poster with the stamps. I am using up all my old stamps just to save money on postage and it is going up May 1st.

  2. Perhaps one of the boys in a local Boy Scout troop would be interested in your stamps if he is working on the Collecting merit badge (one of my boys collected stamps for that badge, the other used baseball cards). He might not be able to pay much money but perhaps he could rake leaves or clean out a flower bed in exchange...

  3. Have you looked on Ebay for the Elvis or James Dean memorabilia?

  4. HI Wanda,
I don't know if there is a market for stamps but I would have thought that there were people out there who collect stamps and would love to have pristine sets- When I was a girl my mother used to collect them as well as old coins.
What if you googled stamp collectors....
    Good luck in your search,
    Regards,
    Anna
