This is the quilt that is in the header of my blog. I love it the way it is but I keep telling myself it has to have a triangle border. I have started making some triangle squares so we'll see what happens. It is a beautiful sunny morning and we are supposed to get near to 80 degrees today, this far into October. Have a happy day everyone.
Wanda, as I look at this 'header' quilt, it draws my eyes into the middle and around it -- such a nice experience. Would a border distract from that glow that comes out of the middle? I am not as experienced as you, so am very interested in what you do with this!
This one kind of explodes out at you, so I think the containment of a border might help keep one's focus from wandering away. Of course, I'm not imagining plain borderly borders, but scrappy colorful triangles that pont back in all sawtoothy and excited like little versions of teh center of the quilt. Whatever you do Wanda, I'm sure it will be wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI think a triangle border would add to this quilt although it's spectacular the way it is.

ReplyDeleteYes, I am sure your final decision will be perfect.
ReplyDeleteWe are having early hot weather, on the other side of the globe!
I get cantankerous.
