What about using them for the center of a log cabin, or boxed blocks... maybe grouping those with one similar color. Lots of ideas come to mind. I, too, have batiks purchased back then and they are different than the ones now. They are brighter and look more tie-dyed. Hmmm. now I have a bin full of these batiks.somethingrosemade14@blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02973160061640897272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-60180783171720263622019-05-22T08:26:22.253-05:002019-05-22T08:26:22.253-05:00Great use of old scraps... I actually had a huge box that I recently passed along to someone else for charity quilts...but your blocks got me thinking of other possibilities. Maybe slice the blocks diagonally, and add large half square triangles of batik to complete the blocks, then you can set them like log cabin blocks. I like the first setting too, scrap happy if you ask me.
Enjoy the warm weather today!
Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03527505463760502930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-14006664187267623742019-05-22T07:58:43.350-05:002019-05-22T07:58:43.350-05:00Really love the first layout.
