They stashed the seed in a wide variety of places - top shelves of closets, underneath seat cushions, etc. I found about 40 stashes all around the house. I found a couple areas in closets where there was a gap between the wall and the frame - promptly duct taped! I was successful in catching the critters - only after I superglued the cheese to the trap.SpinningStarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17988891339643395864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-68159111748091268542010-08-30T22:12:40.373-05:002010-08-30T22:12:40.373-05:00Those little varmints! We keep our seed in a metal trash can on the porch, no problems. Saw a RAT in the garden on Saturday though--we think attracted to the seed. Caught him in a keep-alive trap that night and DISPOSED of him toute de suite!SueRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13015207751862726531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-25303771758568042292010-08-30T21:24:32.287-05:002010-08-30T21:24:32.287-05:00I love your photos. I haven't caught the finches picking seed from my coneflowers, but someone has been after them.

Also, maybe it's a chipmunk who has been whittling away at our garage door framing. We have never caught him or her, just fresh chew marks weekly.

Take care.
Vicky FVicky Fhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580450164312941983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-37340633893929028632010-08-30T18:32:54.109-05:002010-08-30T18:32:54.109-05:00Love your photos, Wanda.
