I've been following you for years on Bloglovin, but do not comment there at all. There was so much in this post that resonated with me, just had to laugh at the feeling of paralyzation and going and doing something else. Also, the lull. Good times. Love how you write about your process and how busy, busy you are. Obviously your mind is going a hundred miles a minute on quilting and you have way more to do than you will ever have time for. Love it so much. Sorry I haven't commented before, I'm not very consistent with it anymore.:)audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18102559813211702736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-25534117210426361302022-06-27T18:26:47.113-05:002022-06-27T18:26:47.113-05:00I'm another who has the book and fell for this...I'm another who has the book and fell for this particular quilt but when I actually saw the size of the squares, cutting 2and7/8th was not very appealing so I decided to pass on it. I do remember you saying at the time that you thought you might make it. Thanks for showing it.

I don't have a design wall and if I did I know myself well enough to know I would be arranging and rearranging and arranging and rearranging forever. I use grandma's method and usually just sew blocks together randomly keeping in mind it will usually go on a bed not a wall when finished.

I've never found a fabric that didn't spark joy! Just beautiful and I also I agree with Karen… if anyone could create this one it’s YOU !

We all need to reorganize after our projects or they get lost in the shuffle. But you are the best organized person I know. This could be a great quilt to keep someone occupied - find all the matching pairs.
I don't know anyone who doesn't do task avoidance organizing and cleaning. to some extent. At least something is getting done, instead of sitting watching TV. It's not a bad plan until the organizing and cleaning also become tasks be avoided.
JustGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08948391538309176039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-17571688080954643652022-06-25T08:17:54.039-05:002022-06-25T08:17:54.039-05:00I know just what you mean about that lull--I am in...I know just what you mean about that lull--I am in one after finishing my fabric journal pages...I began the process of de-stashing yesterday--keeping a small pieces (15" wof") of those fabrics I cannot bear to part with...
this is HARD to do...but do it i will...have a nice weekend hugs, JulieroseJulierosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04079686021190332890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-89359475219644130842022-06-25T07:52:49.518-05:002022-06-25T07:52:49.518-05:00that quilt is pretty but so many pieces - if anyon...that quilt is pretty but so many pieces - if anyone could do it right you would!Karen - Quilts...etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07293429657903986492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-16475827938249039302022-06-25T07:10:33.552-05:002022-06-25T07:10:33.552-05:00I love that same quilt in Quilts in America.
