The internet went down at 10:15 Saturday night. I'm trying posting from my phone. I don't have any idea what size the photos will be. Sunday morning: I came in and repaired the post. I have more to learn when posting from my phone.
I turned on the iron and pressed the backing for the 9 patch quilt.
I started pressing the 28 fat quarters and got 20 of 28 pressed. I hate the deep creases that the companies press in them.

Well boo, your internet is down. Hope it comes back up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI despise posting from my phone - good for you for doing so. Hope service is restored quickly and not days from now.
ReplyDeleteAs to the deep creases, I've found that when I use Mary Ellen's Best Press spray, it helps the steam iron flatten the creases more than the steam alone. I've also misted the uglies with plain water and that works, but not as well as the Best Press (not advertising it, just sharing that it has helped me). Caveat - I prewash fabrics and I know you don't, so your results will undoubtedly be different than mine.
ReplyDeleteOMG ~ you are an awesome technician when it comes to phones and computers . Wonderful Sunday post and sending wishes your internet returns quickly.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time posting from my phone I think you did good
ReplyDeleteI've gotten better at posting from my phone but an internet outage would paralyze me! I'm truly addicted.
ReplyDeleteIroning sure takes up a lot of our quilting time doesn't it?😄
ReplyDeleteI came back to see your post with all the pictures and really see what you meant about the creases! Interesting backing for the 9-patch…..the colors go well.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't know how to post from my phone. Shoot, I couldn't figure out how to fix my gmail so my son helped me with that.
