Sorry for the odd angle. I should have held the camera lower. I couldn't convince myself to go to the basement and get that large Kaffe Zipper quilt up on the design wall for its photo. Instead I pulled pieces for 4 more blocks and worked on them. I got 3 finished and up on the wall. I also counted the pieces that are cut and I think I have enough of the dark ones and need a couple more sets of light pieces for the next 8 blocks.
The pieces for the 4th block are all sewn and I got started fingernail pressing and the rolling the seams. It was getting late so this is where I'll pick up today.
I ended up with an hour plus on the phone with my cable company and hope my problem is solved. The bird feeders are filled, tomatoes picked.

Yea! You're nearing the finish line! Its coming along nicely
ReplyDeleteI hope your cable problems are solved….especially after an hour on the phone with them! The fracturedquilt is looking better and better as you add more blocks.
ReplyDeleteProgress is progress, no matter which project or task. Hope the phone call resolved the issue - it can be so frustrating to sit on hold.
ReplyDeleteLove the Fractured blocks' backgrounds--so pretty how they change across the quilt, Wanda:))) I think this one will be just lovely!!
ReplyDelete61 here and partly sunny so far; they say rain is in the forecast from the Hurricane in the Gulf States moving inland --we will be on the edges but expecting some good rain..
Hope your problems resolve quickly for you...hugs, Julierose
I haven't started to fill my bird seeders yet. I usually start that when the cold weather comes as we have so much seed on all the natures plants around here that they really don't seem to need them before that. Love the Fracture quilt it is going well from the looks of it.
ReplyDeleteLove how the Fractured quilt is growing!!
ReplyDeleteOh spare me a long time on 'hold' on business calls! How annoying and if you start reading to while away the time on 'hold', they interrupt at the wrong time. Hope you issue was resolved to your satisfaction.
Hugs!
This is looking really good!
