I started the day yesterday baking the other Kringlas, different than the ones I baked last week. The dough was refrigerated overnight.
Next I baked the pink Spritz. It was a relief to have my oven fixed to bake these. I did the previous batch that were for my son's customers last week in the little countertop electric oven and it was tricky getting them out before they got too dark.
A little later in the day I baked the chocolate spritz. After that I made one more batch of fudge. Now I have enough of everything to mail in two packages and for my local family's gifts.
Last night I started the quilting on this flannel bullseye baby quilt. I think I have about 2/3 quilted. Stitching along the seams doesn't show up in this photo.
Today is my last PT for this session. My left leg is getting stronger and that was the focus of this session. I will have more PT in January starting in the middle of the month.

PT is a game changer....always has been for me...
ReplyDeleteHooray for appliances that work, whether in the kitchen or the sewing room. The cookies look delicious. The flannel quilt looks so soft and cuddly. Glad the PT is effective.
ReplyDeleteWould you tell us a bit about the Kringlas cookies? I know you have made thousands probably! I’ve never seen a recipe and wonder what the history of this cookie is and how long you have been making them, etc.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are seeing some improvement with PT. I can only imagine how much easier it is to bake in your big oven and nothing makes you appreciate something as when it’s out of commission for a bit, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe flannel quilt is looking great with the x's quilting on the blocks, Wanda. Lovely looking baked goods you've made...you're getting
ReplyDeletea lot done... Rainy and windy here this morning with a 53 degree temp...a very dark, gray day. I lit my tabletop tree early for some light sparkle;))) hugs, Julierose
Thats a lot of baking for the day ~ your spritz’s look so perfect, do you have an electric machine or all by pushing that lever by hand ?
ReplyDeleteAnd then to turn around and quilt stitch your baby quilt. I enlarged your photo of quilt and I could see all your stitching running vertical and horizontal besides the X ‘s.
You are on a roll now! Felling better with the PT, oven working so cookies are baked, and a great start on quilting that flannel quilt. You go girl!
