Binding chosen..............

The binding was finally chosen, cut, and sewn onto the batik table runner.

I started the hand sewing and have it half done.  The binding print is the same as the green print in the blocks.

I finished the second of the three dishcloths that I had started.  Time to start a couple new ones so I have choices when I feel like knitting.

Mid 80s again yesterday but the dew point has dropped into the high 50s so it is comfortable with just ceiling fans running.

  1. The binding batik pattern is a nice one and makes a great binding. It must feel like the table runners are finished in no time at all compared to even a baby sized quilt.

  3. Always a delight when you find the perfect binding fabric!
And, yes, table runners are fun to make because they're quick to make and so easy to machine quilt yourself.
Our high today is 64*F with rain likely all day and overnight. Glub, glub.

    Hugs!

  5. I don't enjoy hand sewing batik but it surely looks good! Take your time with it so your hands don't scream at you.
