Been doing a bit of cleaning up of last year's growth. A couple of mourning doves kept me company, while a downy woodpecker hammered at the elm tree and two black squirrels cavorted in my flower beds. I saw my first robin of the season last Sunday. I love spring! I need to move it.
Karen
http://karensquilting.com/blog/Karen - Quilts...etc.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07293429657903986492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4049103935243328127.post-50496194464640750512010-03-18T08:04:13.704-05:002010-03-18T08:04:13.704-05:00I've been 'row swapping' in my mind. ...I've been 'row swapping' in my mind. We used to put bird food out in the spring and summer, but don't anymore. The bear population around here has increased significantly and we just can't risk it. We have had them in our backyard before, and you just never know when they are going to come. But if they know that there is a food source to be had, they will keep coming.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11515452957964923679noreply@blogger.com
