Found a binding fabric.............

I ended up choosing an old out of print Kaffe fabric for my binding.  I got it sewn on and started the hand sewing.

This shows the backing fabric and the portion of binding that is hand stitched so far.

I got the next one basted and ready to quilt on my Pfaff.  This is a batik one made with 1.5" x 3" rectangles.

You are starting the year off with serious purpose. I need to take lessons on being so driven.

That binding was the perfect choice. The rectangle color wash is another beauty!

I always enjoy your close ups of fabric, then I click it again to enlarge. (^._.^). I agree, perfect binding choice. And you know there has never been one of your color washes I didn't like. Enjoyed how you photographed this one in progress, the last couple days.
