Unpicking seams to make tubes into quilt strips................

This is where I left off a couple weeks ago on the Kaffe Trip Around the World.

I couldn't believe how crooked this photo was when I got it to the computer......
I unpicked seams on a few tubes to start the bottom half of the quilt because I needed to see how it is going to look.  I'll keep unpicking the last 6 pieces to finish the top and some more on the bottom half today.
The red Wegeila continues to have little groups of blooms.  It nice to have some red flowers in the backyard too.

That quilt top is so pretty and colorful. It will be good to get back to that and get it done. The flowers are beautiful. I don't have much color except for the coneflowers. The Shasta daisies got fried in all the 90 degree heat.

Wanda, this top just sparkles with color and brightness and values. It is wonderful to watch the slow unveiling.

Fabulous! It's like watching a butterfly emerge from the chrysalis. The glow is wonderful.

So glad to hear you are getting back to a little fabric fun! I know it must be healing to do a little handwork. Continue your progress!
