Still working on two.............

I cut the rest of the borders for one quilt while I wait for the order with the next 2 fabrics that I didn't have enough of.

Next I finalized the layout of the 16 patch quilt.  I found one block on the table that I intended to use so I took out the other lightest block and put that one in.

Then I took down the rows and numbered them with my cut up calendar page and binder clips to transport them upstairs for sewing while I watched TV.  I have all of the seams sewn one way and 3 seams sewn the other direction.  I'll finish sewing it today.

Happy stitching . . . such a variety of beautiful fabrics.

They all look like future works of art by Wanda. Do you keep track of the number of quilts you've created?

I admire your orderly systems. It's so easy to get something out of order if not labeled. Even then, sometimes!

Hello Wanda!
Just wondering - on your newest quilt, with different fabrics on each border - do you cut the borders on the length of the fabric so there are no seams? or on the cross grain and piece them? straight seams, or diagonal seams? I generally cut borders on the cross grain and piece them if needed. If a busy print, I don't worry about the seam, but on some prints I will try to match the pattern of the print, so the seam doesn't show.
Nice you have some inside projects to work on during this cold spring we are having!
