Petting fabric again...........

While I am cleaning the basement I have to have a little fun too.   I had 1 shelf of fabric that definitely needed straightening.  I found this piece as I reversed the order of the stack from top to bottom.  I think I need to use it, not save it.

I also noticed how nicely the two Brandon Mably prints go with Kaffe's recolored Lotus Leaf print.  Now I must get back to cleaning......

You’re right, that beautiful piece of fabric must find its way into one of your quilts. And I imagine that those Kaffe fabrics will do it too.

Petting is half the fun!

Oh, I totally agree that using that beautiful fabric (first photo) is necessary -- truly scrumptious!

I love the Woodrow Studio fabric. I had to search them out - and I see that the company was dissolved fully in 2016.

It is delightful when you discover fabrics that are accidental companions.

"Wings of Desire" — so well named! I could spend hours looking at that beautiful piece of fabric, and can't wait to peek over your shoulder (as it were) when you start playing with this!

And the Brandon/Kaffe trio is so full of life! Good finds!

Wanda, I cleaned the metal shelving unit that contains my cottons and flannel fabrics, and was amazed at what I found. These are industrial size, steel units, 7 ft. tall and 4 ft. wide, and there are 2 more filled with fleece and other fabrics. That Woodrow Studio fabric is so beautiful and deserves to be admired in a finished piece. Enjoy your weekend.

Such nice discoveries! It is like buried treasure! Hope your cleaning gets done so you can sew up a storm. I am on vacation, so I can't get back to it until Tuesday. Very little bandwidth at the Grand Canyon to keep up on blogs.

I've been using some of my treasured fabric as bindings. Usually bindings are not thought of as a place to put a special fabric, but, it is a great place as it is featured!

Looks like you woke everyone up with your fabrics this morning. They really are awesome, especially the blue (*._.*)

Oh yes! Petting fabric ranks right up there with the most pleasurable experiences! Love that top one. I would probably just pin it up on the wall for a while to look at it. And yes, those three on the bottom do look happy together!
