Four seams and it is together.................

Remember these blocks?  It has been awhile since I showed them and they were in a spot with poor lighting.  I decided to separate the blue and purple blocks out like a border and auditioned a few fabrics for the 1" strip.  I'm not positive now that the bright pink was the best choice but it is going to stay.  I think the binding needs to be the same color but a darker shade.

Here are three mottled batiks that I found yesterday.  I really need to come up with a project that will use a lot of them.

I have toyed with idea of a delectable mountains pattern for my batiks. There are so many different arrangements - zig zag, reflection, etc.

I looked at the quilt photo large and really love the block colors and shapes. For the mottled quilt, how about curves or circles since the fabric is so organic looking?

I love those mottled batiks, I have had several small pieces in the stash over the years and love the way they look

A fun piece to study, quite mesmerizing. I like the 1" strips, they add pizazz. Quite interested as to see what you will design with all your mottled batiks. I'm
