Colorwash sewn

I finished sewing the colorwash that I was working on 2 days ago but haven't given it a good press yet.  I just had to put it up on the design wall and take a photo so I could view it on my computer.

Today is my son's 57th birthday so we will have a little party.  I baked his requested treat last night.

I found a few sale fabrics recently and had to have some of them.  I am mostly buying fill in for gaps in my stash at this point.  I used a large variety of light prints on this quilt and it was pretty successful.

We're getting snow again so I cancelled the art quilters for Monday.   No one needs to be walking on a slippery driveway when it is 10 degrees out.  Warmer weather will be coming next month I hope.

good idea to cancel when snow and icy. Have a great day with your son. Love those light prints I need to find some of the fabrics with the newspapers and writing on them, I like them and I have none!

Happy Birthday to your son! I know he will enjoy his treat.

I am glad your art quilters will be staying in with that cold snowy weather.

Better safe and warm than sorry. Enjoy the birthday fun today. Yet another glorious colorwash piece - I never tire of seeing these.

I had to laugh! Living in Fairbanks, Alaska we are so happy when it is 10 above (who cares about snow) and not 40 below zero.

I have a whole bunch of text fabric, not only the white with black but also black with while. I want to make something special with it. I keep looking and looking.

Oh brrrr. Smart idea to cancel.

Soul Searching must have used up a ton of those neutral fabrics, but it is such a great quilt.

I like your sale fabrics. Where did you find them?
