Clearing off the tables............

I spent most of the day yesterday putting away things.  I still have a long way to go on the cutting table in my main floor studio.  I wonder if I will ever find places to put all of the "stuff" and then if I will remember where I put it.  Meanwhile as a side event during the day I started cutting off the size pieces needed to cut 2.5" squares for colorwash kits.  This pile on my ironing board is 55 fabrics.  I will continue working on this off and on for the next week.  It is always fun to visit my stacks of batiks.

By the time you read this I know you have found place to put away all your 'stuff'. You are meticulous I know . Such a lovely array of fabrics for your color wash kits.

We had a warm day today and I was able to pull and throw all my million bell petunia's in the compost pile. They looked well spent after the freezing temps we've had the past couple weeks. I was hoping they'd last until Thanksgiving, but they had a nice long run this season.

I find that when I tidy up I find more things of interest. "Oh, that's where I put that. Hmmm, I could do this, or this, or that with it...." and back in the pile it goes.
