A little design time..........

I have missed design time.  Last night I looked through my boxes of triangles and found a stack of triangle squares already sewn.  They were the leftovers from my Triangles 1 and Triangles 2 that I made in April 2016.  Click here to see them.  I decided on a chevron pattern and started playing.  I got the seams all sewn in one direction last night.  It will only be about 36" x 45" which is truly a lap quilt size.  It felt good to see what I could make with the combinations that were already sewn.

Boy, I don't tune in for a couple of days and I have to scramble to catch up! Purple twisters, Kaffe cuts, and now MORE batik triangles. (Are you SURE you have found them all this time? LOL.)

I like the batik zig zag! You have been busy the last couple of day with all kinds of projects! I am glad I got those covers done so I can work on what I want.

Looks wonderful! I do love it when something I already have works! Happy playtime!

How perfect - to have the pieces you needed to design this already sewn and just waiting for you to work your magic on them! This truly makes the case for having things already sewn, just waiting to be turned into a quilt!

How I wish I could have found that box. (*._.*) I know you had put the leftover extras away for a day like yesterday. Your creativity always makes me smile. Triangles 1 & 2 still are so strikingly beautiful....I had forgotten them. Glad you posted the link for the originals. Always a treat to see how many designs you create with the same blocks big or small.
