What is next..........

It is time to tackle the huge bin of flannel scraps.  I will need to press most of them after I separate the brights from the muted colors (mostly plaids and stripes).  I have 4 dies that I will use to cut them on my Studio die cutter.

This view from the top shows there are some pretty big scraps in there.  I know there are a lot of small ones near the bottom of the bin.  I estimate this will take me 3 days to sort, press and cut all of it.  Since I can't stick with anything that long I will take breaks and work on other things too and it will probably be a week before I'm ready to sew any of the flannel pieces.

You should have written, "Because I have so many great ideas and projects, I won't just spend all my time ironing and cutting flannel". You are a cornucopia of ideas and master of fabric possibilities!

I can never stick with pressing my scraps for long that is why I still have about 2 bins to go through

You've got a plan! It will feel good to get those scraps tamed.

That's how I work too - a few minutes on this project, a few minutes on that project, especially if it has to do with cleaning and sorting. IT all moves forward and gets done, even if it is slower than how other people do things.

That is quite a bin of flannel! I still have piles of parts that needs sewn into 9 patch blocks from that time last year when I was working on my flannels.
