Binding......

I finally finished this little table topper for my friend.  I worked on the binding last night while I watched a movie on Netflix.

It is 18" x 27" and the square pieces were 3.5" and 2".  Those are the smallest pieces I have worked with in homespun fabrics and I have to say it was a challenge.

We had enough of a frost to wilt my Elephant Ear plant and some of the Cannas.  I dug up the Canna bulbs yesterday.  I bet there were 30 or more from 5 plants.  It was getting dark by the time I was done so I need to clean a little more dirt off the bulbs today before I store them for next year.

i know you are glad to have it finished. I don't think I want to use homespun pieces that are that small.

I'm not a fan of homespun fabrics, I much prefer your bright colored quilts.

I did a bit of weeding last evening and my canna were pitiful! I will go dig up tonight the few I have. Mine never got more than 18" tall, but then again I didn't take very good care of them!
