Blocks and flowers..........

I laid out the rest of the batik quarter blocks for the Bento Box quilt top.

It took three tables to lay them all out.

I sewed them all last night so I'll work on the layout next.

At 6 p.m. last night I noticed how pretty the fall flowers were.  There is even a lily blooming again.  The Sedum has turned a dark rose color.

We got a little over a half inch of rain yesterday so this Rose of Sharon still had some raindrops on it.

PaisleyBird, you are a no reply.  I have an email link on my right sidebar and another in my profile.  If you email me I can answer your question.

The Bento blocks are stunning. I like your photos with raindrops on your flowers (a lot).

Much as I love springtime I think fall has always been my favorite season. Your Rose of Sharon reminds me of the plants my mother used to grow in her yard at the ranch. I'm a little surprised that they are hardy enough to survive your winters and our summers.

Rose of Sharon flowers are very simple but beautiful, I have one outside the bedroom window just slightly darker than yours. Do you trim the bush back each year?
