Garden shot, catalog progress.......

I put some of my pots into bare spots in the front garden.  I have been digging out unwanted plants.

I worked on my cataloging of the Kaffe fabrics yesterday afternoon.  When I first started this project several years ago I cut a row of 6.5" squares of many of the fabrics.  I sold most of the packs that year.  I kept one and that is the background fabrics behind the cards in the photos.  I did 13 more fabrics yesterday and added them to the Kaffe Fassett fabric catalog "page" on my blog's right sidebar.

Enjoying your catalog updates! There are some I haven't seen, like Freckles.

Thank you for making the Kaffe Fassett fabric "catalog". I think the early 90's is about when I sort of gave up on sewing, so I missed seeing his fabrics until about 5 or so years ago. Even then, I saw them and had could not see how they'd work in quilts, at least not the style I'm familiar with. Even seeing them in his books, it just didn't click. But that was before I found your blog.

Your zinnia's are lovely! I may need to check out the seed racks that are left for such mixes for next year. You must have some happy butterflies and bees.

He sure did get a lot of mileage out of that lotus pattern. :-)

I enjoy your cataloging of Kaffe fabrics. I think I have only purchased 3. It is fun to see what you make with them.

That garden shot is beautiful, like one of your quilts.

What a wonderful resource this is! Too bad all designers don't make a historical archive like this on their websites. There will come a day when they will wish they had.
