A gift..........

My friend Martha brought me a pack of Cherrywood fabrics when she visited me Thursday.  I love the beautiful intense colors.  You can check out her blog here.  She used to live in my town and took classes from me starting way back in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
I think I purchased the Cherrywood fabrics on the left the last time I went to the Paducah show and I think that was in 2005.  They are going to go great with the new pack.

I added 11 more fabrics to the Kaffe Fassett fabric catalog "page" on my right sidebar.

I have a bundle of Cherrywood fabrics I have had for a couple of years. I am glad I am not the only one just "saving" them.

I looked at the Cherrywood fabrics at a big quilt show and loved the colors, but the care of the fabric and washing label made me put them back. I did not want to worry about combining fabrics or washing the finished quilts.

the cherrywood fabric is beautiful, have never gotten any as I'm trying to use what I have on my shelves.

Nice fabric - does that mean some sewing will be starting soon? I miss your sewing :)
