Workshop results...........

There were 15 participants in the Slack and Slash workshop yesterday.  Here they each have one of their blocks.  There was a nice variety of fabrics being used.

I forgot my camera and had to depend on my cell phone camera.  I am used to a heavier camera and only got a few good photos with the cell phone.
Last night I sewed the crosswise seams on the 30s repro top  and also sewed the first of 2 Laurel Burch baby quilt tops.

Looks like a great time was had by all. Love the variety. I had 10 people from my guild come to our guild workshop that I taught yesterday on making a portable ironing board from an empty fabric bolt. So fun to sew with others!

I am glad it was a good day for the class.

Looks like a good size class. In addition to learning from the teacher, you can pick up even more ideas about what you like and don't like from seeing how others choose their fabrics.

A bunch of happy ladies! I love the lime green and citrus yellow in your Laurel Burch Stack and Slash and can almost see the letter S going from top to bottom in there.

It's always fun to see what comes out of stacking and slashing. Your "victims" did very well!
