2015 recap..............

These are the finishes of 2015, 26 of them.  I kept thinking I hadn't finished many but it ended up more than last year.  I sold a few of them, gifted one from this group.  Some of them were pieced and finished in the same year.  Others have been waiting their turn to be finished for several years. The quilts aren't to scale, just however Picasa3 decided to show them.
Here are the tops that didn't get finished into quilts.  I sold 7 of them, the rest are on hangers in the basement studio.  There were a couple more tops that just needed borders, and I can see one is missing, the One Block Wonder.
I made a batch of mug rugs, some for a customer, some for me to use as gifts.

I didn't do quite as much knitting in 2015 but did a lot more reading.  I also finished 2 table runners and a tote bag.  It was a good year.

Now onto 2016.......for living with intention, staying healthy, and having lots of fun.  Happy New Year everyone!!!

Happy New Year to you and your's and thank you for all the inspiration you give so generously through the year.
How wonderful your 2015 recap looks all together and what an achievement, you must be so proud. i must admit that I get great satisfaction from the results of my quilting and I had a good bit to learn to get to your standard.
Thank you for your kind comment on my Liberty quilt. It was just a random "quicky" whilst I was away on holiday but I enjoyed making it. I must tell you that on the way to the Lake District we stopped at the mill where Liberty fabric is printed and we usually buy it for a bargain £8 per metre instead of £25. We were devastated to find the mill closed as it had been flooded out in the recent, dreadful, storms. It will be a while before I can restock my supplies but I do have quite a stash to keep me going a while.

Isn't it nice to look back and see a long list of accomplishment? Love all the colorful quilts... from 2015! I look back at 2015.... everything we did, and need a rest! Amazing how much we can cram into 12 months. 2016 I am going to use the word "practice" a lot! Hopefully more than just in the Creative Spaces

A Happy New Year to you Wanda. Looking at what you have achieved over the year is remarkable. You must be really organised.... I find I can wander off onto different things and am always starting but rarely finishing except if it is for a specific purpose such as a gift.
I love your blog - it is true to it's name.

As always, your quilts are beautiful, what an accomplishment for 2015. I like your saying "living with intention', not sure what that all means, but I will ponder on it. Another blogger, Christa, has a word for the year and mine will be 'enjoy'. Such a simple word, but full of meaning for me. Happy 2016 Wanda.
