Choosing fabrics and ironing them......

I chose a backing for my batik "Many Moons" wallhanging and got it ironed.  This one will hang in my living room.  I think maybe this wallhanging needs facings instead of a binding.  I have plenty of the backing fabric to use for them.

I also chose a purple binding fabric for the batik 16 patch quilt that I quilted last Saturday.

We had a family Thanksgiving dinner yesterday while my granddaughter's family is still here from out of state.  My great grandson entertained us.

Good morning Wanda...Your Many Moons Quilt is one of my very favorite quilts that you've made. Everything about the quilt is just so appealing to me and I can't wait to see it hanging in your living room. It will be an immediate eye catcher for anyone who enters your home. I think if I had a quilt exactly like it, that I would just sit and stare at it. Beautiful, Wanda and a credit to your talented fingers and mind that are able to produce such gorgeous artwork!

That backing fabric is scrumptious. I think it deserves to be on front. ;-)

Hi Wanda, lovely work. Where do you find the energy?!
As you love your Kaffe Fassett material I thought you might like the ebook from one of our UK suppliers, NA etc. saw it and thought of you. The link is to the home page and the ebook is on the top right hand side.

Great backing for your wall hanging! You've had a very people-filled week. I don't see how you manage to get so much done.
