Ready to sew.........

Finally, it is ready to sew.  I spent another 3 hours on it yesterday searching for a few new fabrics to fix the spots I didn't like.  I'm adding the "before tweaking" photo below so you can see the comparison.  The greens at the left are one area I worked on.  There were a few other pieces moved too.

Been watching the progress, and I have to say I think I like the rectangles better than the squares... really gives the color a little more play, so I wonder what would happen if you mixed some squares in there too?

Wanda, this is just beautiful. You sure know how to tweak the tops and here I am thinking they are just perfect from the start. Thanks for showing us how you do this 'tweaking'.

Just absolutely stunning. I can feel the light coming out of it. The colors are so rich and clear.

I am absolutely amazed by the life and light of this piece. One might look for texture there since the flow of color and light is so striking. Beautiful!

I can not clearly see where you moved anything, but it looks different in the bottom picture!! It sure glistens & the rectangles give a little more color saturation!!

Just beautiful Wanda ! You really made it shine with those last tweaks. Now the fun begins...sewing it all together. How do you keep all the pieces straight?

Oh, Wanda, it is gorgeous! I got some new batiks yesterday and cut squares to add to my hoard. One day, I'll get in there and make another one. I do so love to see yours develop!

You say "at last" but it really didn't seem to take very long! It seems just perfect!

May I say that I love them both but the top picture is my favorite. The light in it is so real, almost blinding like a morning sun, and it's as if the light fades the colors immediately around it just the way light really does. But both are beautiful. The light in the second pic is just narrower.

I agree with Judy, 2nd one looks different but I can't see what you moved. Looks great.
