Changes and garden walk...........

I made a change of one fabric in this quilt.  The yellow block was one large square of the fern fabric and I thought it was too dull so I made it into a 4 patch.

Since I had already made the triangle blocks to go with it I now had 4 that won't be used.  Never fear though, they will be used with the 4 patches left over from another quilt since they are the same size blocks.

Spring is really here when the robins visit looking for worms.

This dove also visited.  It has a partial ring on its neck.  I was thinking that the ring went all the way around but not on this one anyway.

The Brunnera is blooming.

Pulmonaria also known as Lungwort is also blooming.  I had several renegades that jumped out of the flower bed so I dug them up and will share them with friends.

The forsythia is in the final stage of blooming since the leaves are popping out now.  I'll show some more garden walk tomorrow.

Yep its Spring!!! Forsythia has gone crazy this year here, and the redbud is popping... all the bulbs are up or close to flowering! and all the trees are flowering too. Allergy season is HERE!

Our forsythia is not yet blooming up here in Toronto. I think I'll take a few branches inside to force some blooms and add colour to my kitchen.

It seems a lot to keep straight with the blocks, to make sure triangles match the 4 patch pieces. My garden is a bit behind yours. Windflowers and crocuses blooming, forsythia only buds.

pretty plants - now if it would just clear up and be a sunny day - we have had too many rainy, misty days that I haven't been able to enjoy spring too much the past week or so

Spring is in full force here.. My allergies are blooming more than the flowers.

My neighbour has that plant growing, next to my wall - I wondered what it was called and now I know :) I love seeing your flowers/garden, as well as your quilting, of course.

Those HSTs look so small. How big are they? The piecing is so beautiful.

Yeah....spring is always such a wonderful time of the year.

Brilliant four patch change, and thanks for the garden tour. I'm a fan of pulmonary but I too have problems with seeding all over the place.
