Design wall time......

I added the new saturated color blocks and I think it has livened it up a bit.  I might just make 2 more blocks and make this into a square quilt 5 x 5.

On this one I just have 2 blocks to go or if I make the design off center then I will make another row for the width and move the top pieces to the bottom.  Decisions, decisions......  It needs some more saturated blue and maybe purple too.

I'm taking the blocks for the spiral down to a big design wall today.  I had them on my tiny design wall in the main floor studio up to this point.

They look great. The colors you mentioned would finish them off quite well. Chris

As usual I am in awe of your work .
I think in my own mind being tidy and selective in your colour storage must be half the battle .
I simply love what you are doing with this pattern .
Power to your elbow .

I took time this morning to check out QAL... and my oh my there are some beauties there also. The variety of designs you ladies create with one block always makes me smile.

Yours pieces always have the 'EXUBERANT' PIZAZZ that makes my day.

I think more blue or purple! They are lovely and getting closer!

Love the setting! I did a quilt just like it years ago and gave it as a gift. Hmmm... maybe I need to make another.

My goodness you are sure into making those fractured blocks? Do you cut multiples at a time or one at a time?

I really like the pieces you've been doing lately with the contrasts of light and dark, bright and low-volume. Keeps my imagination satisfied while I don't have the time to make anything. Thanks!
