Merry Christmas!

It isn't a white Christmas this year but it is a celebration of Jesus' birth, so whatever the weather it is a special day.  I pray that everyone will have safe travel to family gatherings.
I have 16 more partial blocks sewn.  See my new Bright Light on my machine?  A friend sent it to me for Christmas.  It makes a lot of difference with my night sewing.
I completed 6 more blocks before I started the last 16.  I like the mix of batiks and Kaffe prints.

My boys and their partners are both safely home and we skyped with our daughter who's in Korea last night. All is well.
I like the combination of the fassett prints and the batiks too.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day is all but over here (10:45pm) but God's love and gift to us goes on forever!

Merry Christmas, Wanda. It's a foggy morning here. Your blocks are beautiful.

Merry Christmas, Wanda :)
Your batik and KF fabric combination makes your colorful log cabin blocks brighter, more beautiful if that is possible. Best yet.

merry Christmas to you. We have fog and a chance of snow - or even tornadoes today. We will see what the day holds and more importantly - we will remember the joy of a glorious birth.

Enjoy your day doing what you love best, sewing. That bright light will be a blessing in itself.

Went for a walk early this morning and some of the luminaria at my church were still glowing - so even without snow, the day is beautiful - Merry Christmas Wanda!

I didn't get a Bright Light but one similar and I know it will help me a lot! My machine has very poor lighting.
Merry Christmas to you Wanda - we will have a white Christmas - just later in the day sleet right now - weird to have snow on Christmas here in Arkansas and it sounds like it will be a storm we will remember.

Merry Christmas to you Wanda, spending viewing time with you on your daily blog has made each day one to look forward too for me.

Love your Christmas Quilt. And the decorative machine stitching, around each piece of fabric, gives it a wonderful nostalgic look.

16 simple blocks but oh so full of wonderful color. The red just jumps off the screen, but OMG those Kaffe prints steal the show. Like a gorgeous show in a kaleidoscope.

Merry Christmas from Chicago where we DO have a white one. Couple inches of wet, snowman-making snow. It's the first snow we've seen in I don't know how long. I can imagine kids opening their presents and then running outside to play in the white stuff.
