I didn't sew.....

No sewing yesterday but I finally turned on the iron and pressed the last 3 blocks that I had made.  I'm making these from the box of triangles that I cut with my studio die cutter.  I'm trying to cut up all of the scraps that I can't see any immediate use for.  I need to cut more light color triangles before I can go any farther.  This is an ongoing project with no plan or deadline.  The blocks are 8" finished.
I didn't think I was tired yesterday after lunch but decided I probably should take a nap anyway.  I slept for 2 3/4 hours!  I guess I was making up for the hours after 3:15 a.m. that I usually sleep.  My daughter's family should be here from NC tonight.  They are bringing back the quilts from my show there in June.  I'm planning on hanging at least one of them in my newly painted grayed lavender living room.
Thanks everyone for your uplifting comments yesterday.  I should be back to 2 eyes working together soon.

It's going to be a really nice quilt. I think you might have a couple of pieces sewn the wrong way in the middle block of the second row. Funny how those things only jump out when they're on the screen. I don't trust my own eyes; am I right?

Maybe you didn't sew, but the blocks look good on the design wall.

sounds like a nap was needed-you probably weren't sleeping well with that thing wrapped around your head!

I'm so glad that the proceedure is behind you now. You deserved to sleep after rising at that hour.

Love the triangles. Very pretty colors. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.

I was so anxious to learn about the removal of the 'radiation seeding' and did not have a chance to check out your blog again on Tuesday, till this morning. So glad it is over for you and do pray the mass is gone forever.

Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving with your family. You are one strong lady, you know. And hope you will wake up tomorrow without your double vision.

The triangle blocks you posted today are so unique, with different designs and fabrics, truly fun to study.

Glad to hear that you are making progress. That nice long nap helped, I'm sure of it! Having your daughter with you will be super. Greetings to Vicki... and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family.

Having family around is always a fun time. Thanksgiving, perhaps, a great time this year.

You're making such headway in your projects. I, too, need to cut some 2.5" squares and the same size triangles to match the number of colorful ones awaiting. Love my GO! cutter. Cuts the time it takes when cutting.

Keep on making a Speedy Recovery, gal.

hugs and love
