Finally finished..........

I finally finished the binding!  It is so hard to get an accurate photo of this one.  I took 12 photos and this is the closest for color.  The beiges are more of a gold tone.  After I finished this one I started the hand stitching on the Kaffe crosses wallhanging.

Our warm weather is over for a few days.  It is supposed to only be in the high 30s or low 40s today after 67 degrees yesterday.  It sounds like good weather for driving to Chicago later this week though so one prayer has been answered.

It looks great, but (at least in this picture) it doesn't look like the bright things we usually see from you.

ok, Wanda, that does it: I'm moving to Sandwich. I want to see your quilts in person! but even though the colors on this last quilt aren't accurate in the photo, it's so so gorgeous!

I was thinking the same thing when I saw your weather report for your area. One step closer!

Simply beautiful!

It is cold here this morning, too -with a 25 degree drop from yesterday.

That is a gorgeous log cabin - so different and so calming!
We've got the warm weather for one more day. I hope your weather stays perfect for your trip to Chicago.

This has been a favorite of mine since you started it. Truly is another beauty.

Prayers continue for you, my friend.

Very pretty. I think the large meander you chose works well with this design.

I love the wonky-ness of the overall design. Happy to hear you'll probably have clear sailing for your drive to Chicago later this week.

What a great variation on the Log Cabin, this one just dances across the picture. Glad you will have good travel weather, takes that worry off the table.

Very cute and wonky.

Wow, I love this. It would be so hard for me to work with only light and medium values!

So pretty, muted and foggy looking! And ditto what Karen and Gene said!

Love the variation on the Log Cabin.

At least it is sunny outside today and it is supposed to warm up a bit during the week. Good luck on the trip into the city. For years I had to drive into the city to my showroom. I haven't missed the trip one bit. Your procedure will be over before you know it and you will be able to get back in the rhelm of things before you know it.
We are all praying for you.
