One project finished...........

All 4 of the little quilts for my classmate's granddaughters are finished.  I used Thermore batting which is very thin but it is thicker than her original quilt.  I think I will wash them and see if they soften a little.
In this close up you can see how cute the little prints are.  The floral has kitty faces and it is the fabric that is on the back of all 4.
There was one larger print that has kitties in it too.  I had a larger piece of green background to use as the border on the mostly green quilt.  My friend supplied all of the fabrics.
The box of triangles was still sitting on the sewing table so I made one block while I watched the news and weather.  I haven't pressed it yet.  The stress test went OK yesterday.  The hardest part was laying perfectly still for 17 minutes 2 times on a very uncomfortable table.  They told me I did great on the treadmill and better than most people my age.  I wonder if they tell everyone that.  I have an appointment for another test today.

Congrats on the test!
The quilts are sweet and I really like that block. Does it have a name or did you just make up the layout?

Glad you did well on the stress test. I would bet you really did do better than most your age. Did you finish the time or did you have to quit early?

So glad the stress test went ok. That is a big accomplishment! My x-husband had a stess test when he was 37 and didn't last a minute. He ended up having quintuple by-pass surgery. So if you pass the test that is fantastic! The little quilts are so pretty!

Congrats on the stress test. I just had one a few weeks ago. You're right about having to lay on that table forever, perfectly still. Ugh. I made thru well. Now to see the pain doctor next week for some pain relief in my back.

The little quilts are just darling. They will love them.

Glad the tests were passed with flying colors. I'd be "stressed" just lying on that table for that length of time. Good luck on the next one.

When I commented on the treadmill being easy, I didn't want to plant any fears about the x-ray part of the test. I too had more problems with lying flat on a hard surface with my arms over my head for such a long time. It's past history for you now, so Congratulations! you made it!

The doll quilts are so cute, and sure to be loved to pieces!

Those quilts are cute but such a surprise in color palette from you. :-) Glad the test went well and, no, I do not think they get to say that very often. I had a nurse take my blood pressure once and tell me that people would buy it if they could!

Doll quilts are as sweet as they can be. Love the prints... I saw that the first day you showed them.

Love, love the block you worked on last night.

For what ever reason, us old gals and guys too, can impress these young doc's that are out there today, when we hop on that tread mill. Just wait till they hit 70!
