Ready for fine tuning......

All of the holes have been filled in and now the colorwash is ready for fine tuning.  This is the way I have been working on it but you need to turn your head to the left to see it the way it will finish.
OK, I turned it for you.  I didn't realize when I started it that is was sideways and by the time I did notice it, there was too much to move so I just continued.  I moved the outer blue edge out one space and then rearranged and filled in the gap because I didn't like the proportion.  It could still be at least one row taller but I'll make that decision later.  I think it needs more green now that I see it on the computer screen.
This is what my work area looks like as I'm designing.  The trays all nest into each other and take up very little space for storage.

I agree, I think that a little more green would work well in this quilt. I love your organizational technique for this quilt. The trays are brilliant!

I love it as it is but after you said "a little more green" I saw that AND i think a little more yellow into orange would be nice too.

It's beautiful. I love how you have your trays of squares arranged. Your work reminds me of putting together a puzzle.

You're right the composition is striking turned upright.
So happy to know that you were comfortable making that adjustment. Don't know why I was apprehensive doing it to mine ;p

What a wonderful scene - those trays of squares ready and waiting to be chosen. I agree with your thoughts about adding a bit more green.

Beautiful . . .

Your trays are a good idea. Do you cut all those squares from scraps from other quilts or are they cut from yardage as you need a color. Looks great.
I need to get organized...LOL

It looks perfect to me, but i don't have your eye. Those trays are a great idea. They look like art all by themselves.
