Binding fabric chosen......

I finally looked for a binding fabric for the cobblestone cross quilt.  I was pretty sure I wanted green and nothing too solid and distracting.  This one is a mottle that looks good with all of the edges of the quilt.  I got one short edge hand sewn and most of one long edge, so not quite half done.

One would think that choosing binding for a scrappy batik quilt would be simple but it is always a challenge...at least for me. I like some sort of contrast between the edge of the quilt and the binding so the edges don't appear to run together. It looks like you have made a great choice with your binding fabric on this quilt!

That looks like a great choice. It is not at all distracting from the beauty of the quilt.
